Avenue Bridge Collaboration Program
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
As summer approaches, we are looking forward to our 4th Annual SPARK Summer Camp, which connects community partners and resources to close educational gaps and expand oppurtunities for children in the Avenue community. SPARK Summer Camp is in partnership with two Mobile County Public Schools located in the Avenue community, Florence Howard Elementary School and Calloway Smith Middle School. At the guidance of school leadership, the camps have both a literacy and math focus. Fuse Project hired qualified educators and provides resources such as supplies, on-site field trips, summer activity backpacks, weekly incentives, and end of camp celebrations to encourage attendnace and academic engagement. There is no cost for students to attend camp, and two meals are provided daily through a partnership with Feeding the Gulf Coast. Our vision is to combine the joy of learning with the excitement of STEAM, creating a unique and dynamic experience that sparks creativity, builds skill, and improves student readiness for the upcoming school year.
There is no cost for students to attend either camp. Donate today and see your dollars at work by following us on Instagram and/or Facebook!
